Foreverwood Products are an innovative and eco-friendly alternative to wooden, plastic or concrete fencing.

Primarily made from magnesium oxide (MgO) - a material that absorbs carbon dioxide during its manufacturing process, the Foreverwood products won't rot or burn, they can't be eaten by insects and they look and handle just like wood. They don't need toxic chemicals for preservation and have a 25 year guarantee. And since they don't need to be painted (though they can be), and nothing grows on them, e.g. lichen or moss, they are virtually maintenance free.

Foreverwood Products can be sawn, drilled, nailed with a nail gun, stapled, screwed or hammered (a cap is recommended to protect the top of the post for ramming). This makes them ideal for:

Company director, James King-Wilson, says,

"When we were approached by the manufacturer of the Foreverwood products to become their sole UK distributors, we were already aware of their innovative and eco-friendly credentials. We had been purchasing one of their environmentally friendly re-cycled products for our core business for years.

The overriding feature, above all of the many benefits of these new products, is, in our opinion, their sustainability. The main ingredient, over 75%, comes from a natural mineral that covers one eighth of the earth's crust and the remainder is sustainable fibre. The product carries a lifetime guarantee therefore you can be confident that once you have put up your new fence, or decking, etc. you will probably never have to do it again. But if you did want to change it at some time in the future, the product can be re-used or crushed back down to its original raw material for disposal back to the earth."

This 'main ingredient' is magnesium oxide (MgO), a natural mineral that has been used in construction since the 19th century and is now recognised as an eco-friendly alternative to Portland cement. If MgO replaced Portland cement in construction, it could eliminate a billion tons of CO2 each year.

The manufacturers of Foreverwood products have developed a process that results in a product which is softer and similar to wood, without compromising strength and durability, by the addition of an equally natural and sustainable fibre, plus a very small amount of man-made fibre (2 grammes per 7 Kg post) for additional bonding strength. Prototypes are undergoing testing to replace this man-made fibre element with natural fibre so that the second generation products have truly 'green' credentials.

Currently available in two colours - natural or dark brown. The natural colour of magnesium oxide is very similar to limestone. The colourants added to create the brown post are again natural mineral materials.
